Medications made for one patient.
Some medications do not exist in the dose, strength or form a patient needs. A compounding pharmacy makes those to a prescriber's specification — a cream instead of a capsule, a strength no manufacturer sells, a preparation without a dye a patient reacts to.
Compounded and dispensed by Formulation Compounding Center — not by Low Cost Drug, which is a retail pharmacy and does not compound.

How a compounded prescription works
Find it and see the price
Every preparation we list shows the full patient price for each pack size. No insurance is billed and none is needed.
Tell us your prescriber
Send a request and we pass it to the compounding pharmacy. If you already have a prescription elsewhere, say so and it can be transferred.
The pharmacy confirms, then compounds
A pharmacist confirms the prescription with your prescriber and quotes shipping. Nothing is compounded or charged before that.
A prescription is required. A compounded preparation is made for one patient against one prescription, so there is nothing to add to a cart. Requesting a medication here does not create a prescription, and nothing is compounded or charged until the pharmacy has one.
Availability depends on your state. The compounding pharmacy is licensed in a specific set of states and will not ship outside them. Tell us where the medication would ship and we will confirm before anything is prepared.
Shipping is not included in these prices, and is not free. Every price on this page is for the preparation itself. Shipping is charged separately and what it costs depends on the medication — several must travel refrigerated and overnight. The pharmacy quotes it when it confirms your prescription, before anything is charged. The free shipping offered elsewhere on this site applies to our retail generic medications, not to compounded preparations.
Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved products and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness. They are prepared under section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Nothing on this page is medical advice; talk to your prescriber about whether a compounded medication is right for you.

Not sure it can be compounded?
This page lists what we price publicly — the pharmacy compounds a great deal more. Tell us what your prescriber wrote for and we will tell you whether it can be made, and what it costs.
